Job Description
We are seeking analytical, detail-oriented and experienced Civil and Structural Engineers to join our team in Long Island City in Queens, New York.
Develop and review civil and/or structural engineering designs for infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, and water systems
Perform complex calculations and analysis to ensure structural integrity and project feasibility
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate engineering components into larger projects
Prepare detailed technical reports, specifications, and construction documents
Conduct site visits to assess project progress and address any engineering challenges
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on project-related issues
Ensure compliance with local building codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards
Utilize advanced engineering software to create accurate models and simulations
Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and stakeholders
Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and methodologies
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution
4-10 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on infrastructure design and construction
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant structural analysis software
Strong knowledge of project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite
Demonstrated experience with local building codes and regulations
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Additional Information
Proposed Salary: The salary range varies based on the scope of work, project location, and level of experience, and may fall between $80,000-$135,000 per year, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Lombardo Professional Engineering D.P.C has made the best effort to accurately represent the pay range for this position; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and any applicable cost of living data relevant to the position/candidate.
Other compensation: opportunities for annual increase and bonus, and other types of bonuses

Job Description
We are seeking detail-oriented and analytical Junior Civil and Structural Engineers to join our team in Long Island City in Queens, New York.
Assist in the preparation of engineering drawings, plans, and specifications using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
Conduct site visits and field investigations to gather data and assess project requirements
Perform engineering calculations and analyze data to support project designs
Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers on various aspects of civil, structural or related engineering projects
Assist in the preparation of project reports, cost estimates, and technical documentation
Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with team members and clients
Support the development and implementation of quality control procedures

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited institution
0-4 years of experience in civil engineering projects
Engineer in Training (EIT) certification preferred
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS software
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent mathematical and problem-solving skills
Basic understanding of local building codes and regulations
Familiarity with construction materials, methods, and environmental regulations
Additional Information
Proposed Salary: The salary range varies based on the scope of work, project location, and level of experience, and may fall between $65,000-$90,000 per year, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
